Finally was about damn time. The server was dying. And i say WAS! 'cuz i truly hope that we could get back on out feet and back to the top. After all the !"#$%& that was happening, people leaving constantly and etc etc... i didnt leave the server because i just love it, best server ever and was kinda sad if the GM staff left this dying because actually i cant remmenber any better RO server, i knew they was gonna do something and surprise ... surprise

Thats an awesome idea.
But ... may i suggest something?
Nothing big. Just some few changes, some little changes that could help us get big again.
One of the changes was the rates (idk? put like 30x or just leave the way it is, is good too), the other was main town (idk? put other main town like Brasillis, or other) the last and the most important... the server name,Dreamer-RO dont have the best "face" so I think if the name of the server was changed, could open again some doors, like re-join of the RMS community, new players comings… and maybe the re-join of those who left it. And those, well I think they would be just O_O
Humm.. so that was my suggestions, I think they are pretty good so ^^ how about you?

Third WHAT?!?! I'm sorry but i have to disagree with you, and i think all the people will agree with me 'cuz the Third Class feature cativate ALOT of people... thats the reason why most of the people joined dRO LR

You're getting confused here, dRO Nightmare is a NEW server, the current one you have your characters on is still going to have your characters, and items. It just became a Test server due to imbalance of 3rd jobs....which is why we won't have them in dRO Nightmare

LOL 3rd jobs made about half the server leave when introduced, and the half that left were the most vet and experienced players.... 3rd jobs did ruin the server, sorry to prove u wrong but it is true.
But there were many factors that led to the decline of the server.
Introduction of 3rd jobs
Being kicked off of RMS
and finally now this, ever since the annoucment of the new server the now test server is down to 90 people online, with merchants....

So, i will play the Nightmare server, and i hope that all players that have quit before because of any factor, they should be resolved now

Here is my thought regarding 3rd Jobs, although I havnt played any third job server before, so its probably my imagination helping me here...

A server with third jobs=
Lots of skills, hence easy mvping, and easy leveling, hard pvp and woe, sometime it may get one sided.

A server without thrid jobs =
Balanced number of skills, hence a little difficult for mvping, and same as above, hard pvp and woe, but there are less chances of getting one sided until and unless a player is ganged up.

And I think thats why vet and pro players leave the servers with unbalanced 3rd jobs..

he avoided breaking that rule on a technicality. the result is the same though. we ended wasting time because he killed the server. there were a number of things he could have doone to balance 3rd jobs. he could have lowered the level limit to 99 for 3rd jobs, as a suggested before. he could have disabled death bound. then the only difference between most trans and third jobs would be the gameplay. sorcs play very differently from professors.

I dont like the timing of the announcement. What am I supposed to do before the grand opening of Dreamer RO: Nightmare? Play in a dead server so I can waste my time and energy on my character that would be dead anyway? The announcement that the old DRO is dead shouldn't be made when the new server isn't up and running. What is happening is that some players would not play in the old server and gets bored waiting for the so called Grand Opening that they would rather go to the other server so as not to waste time.

thats right. since you are removing the control panel and download page for nearly a month, you are guaranteeing that the old server dies. i guess thats what you wanted though...

if you rly wanted to have both servers up, you would have left the cp and download page, instead of gimping it

Sigh..I like the server, and yes... the server will not be wiped or close, but leaving DRO server like this to rot and dead, then open up a new DRO-N server force all the old player leaving to the new one to start over again. Isn't it another way of wiping? Having new players join up is definitely a good things for the server, but what about the old players spend their time in and the donors that support the server? I am not mad or pissed, just feel a bit sad.

Jeez, you guys keep saying I'm abandoning LR for this new server. You all fail to understand, I will be updating the old server and test new things out on the old server before I put it on the new one. If anything, I will probably be more active on the old server to perfect new stuff I implement.

Well with all the desires of the old players and recommendation from my GM's. I might just turn the old server into an official Medium Rate server. So if you guys dont mind, quit saying im leaving the old LR to rot.... That's not an accurate statement.
