Help
Here a guide for our custom events and NPCs.
First for the events that are in the server. There are two types of events:
- Automated Events
- GM-Events
Automated Events:
Automated events will have a broadcast to tell everyone in the server that it is about to start. If it does tell you to enter a Portal, you will find that one next to the event manager in Caspen.
There are 3 automated events currently on Dreamer-RO:
The automated dice-event:
Here you will have to choose between 4 boxes (number 1-4) and wait for the server to choose a number from 1 to 4 after a countdown. Everyone that is waiting in the box with the same number will be warped out of the room and loose this game. This will continue until only one player is left.
Don't get caught outside of the boxes once the time is up, you will loose if you're not in one of the boxes.
Catch the poring-event:
In this event, 100 different poring will be spawned. They all are named in a different way (like POring, poRing, Don't hit me, etc.). The one that will kill the one with the correct name (Poring) will claim the price.
So read carefully and don't attack the wrong one, else you will suffer for that.
Roaches-event:
For this event, one town (the town will be announced) will be filled with nasty roaches, waiting to get killed. But don't get too overconfident, they are kinda deadly in masses and far stronger than the bugs you usually find in fields.
They are dropping Event-tickets by a low chance and one of them will be the Roach-Queen that does drop a ticket with 100%. Play antbuster and get your reward.
GM-events:
Those are different from the automated ones for there is a GM holding them. They will explain the rules, so no one will know if they will let you chase them, let you roll for your life, or if they fill a place with monster and hide in them.
Don't miss them, they also will be rewarded with event-tickets.
Now for our custom NPCs/Locations:
Location 1:
1. Identifier
This helpful guy will identify your unknown items for a fee. You will be better off with buying magnifier, or using the merchant-skill, but you will be grateful for him if you have a lot of items at once.
2. Banker
Here you can store your money so that you can get it with any char. There will be a fee for using him, but do you really want to have one character with several millions of zeny, but your other char can't even afford to open the Kafrastorage?
3. Universal Rental NPC
Regardless if you need a cart, a falcon, a riding-dragon or whatever. This guy will get it for you. The best is: It won't cost you a thing.
4. Stylist
You don't like your look? Aiming for more colour on your character? Sick of that hairstyle? This guy will change the appearance of your sprite. Check it out, there are more than enough colours available for you.
5. PvP Ladder
Do you like to kill others in duels, the PvP-room or during WoE-battles? Want to know how you're doing compared to others? Check this NPC, he will tell you what you need to know about it. He will also announce if you rank up in the ladder.
6. PvP Manager
Are you PvP-addicted? Then this NPC is the right one for you. He will let you warp to the PvP room, the deathmatch arena. Earn points for your kills and get rewards for that. Happy slaying!
7. Breaker Ladder
Loving to break those yellow stones during WoE? Want to show anyone that you're the best breaker? This list wil keep track of your breaks, showing everyone that only you deserve the title of the best breaker.
8. WoE Times
When do you WoE? Where? And whatnot? This guy will have the times for you, in case you forgot them.
NPC-Location 2:
1. Endless Tower
He will take you to the endless tower for a fee of 10k zeny. It is the same NPC that is standing in Alberta, you only can get from Caspen to the tower to.
The endless tower is a dungeon with 102 floors. Each floor is filled with monster that you and your party have to kill to proceed. Each 10 floors one or more MvPs will wait for you to be fought.
Once you reached the floor 101 and 102 you can try to fight unique MvPs only available in that dungeon. Are you able to claim one of the swords from Neight Sieger? Be quick, because there is a time-limit.
2. Poring Ball Hostess
Two teams, one poring, two goals.
Like soccer the goal of this game is to get the 'ball' to the goal of the other team. You can kick the poring forward and attack the other teams members to get your points.
And for this is a PvP-event you will claim Deathmatchpoints in there.
3. Stolen Key
5 player will fight here against each other. But it's not the goal to kill each other, it's to get an monster that will try everything to avoid you. Kill him and get a reward, but be careful, all the others are trying the same too.
4. Platinum Skill NPC
Every first class character will already have his platinum skills, but once you reached your 2nd job you can claim your Platinum skills here. Only Alchemists will have to do the Bioethics-Quest to get their Homunculus.
But talk to him in time. He will currently refuse to get you new skills once you turned to 3rd job.
5. Tool Dealer
What to say? He is an nice guy, willing to pay any ammount of zeny for your loot. Obviously his wallet is big, he will be able to pay millions of zeny at once.
In addition you can buy several things here, like blue gemstones and grape juice, to help you.
6. Reset Slave
Messed up your build? Want to try something or you simply want to switch builds? This strange looking NPC will make it possible for a fee (50k for stats, or skills, 90k for both at once).
NPC-location 3:
1. Dedicated Dreamer NPC
For donators, or voters there is an option to raise to the status of a dedicated dreamer.
Those will gain some new commands (like @showmobs) and also they will be able to warp to the VIP-lounge.
This is an place, for dedicated dreamer only to visit the minimall or the chilling-rooms to relax.
2. Vote4points
For each vote for the server you will gain points. With these points you can buy some items from this NPC. Vote, gain points and check the goodies you may claim. You support the server and wil be rewarded.
3. Donation Claims
You did donate and wait for your claim? Get it here. This guy will help you out and tell you if/what is waiting for you.
NPC-location 4:
1. Party Caster
Looking for a party, or for more member for your own party? He will broadcast it for you, so everyone can see this. You just need to tell him your favorite spot, your class and your lvl, then it'll be announced.
2. Kafra Employee
The Kafra-staff has even reached Caspen. She will let you use your storage, save your spawnpoints an anything else that all the nice Kafra-staffmembers are willing to do for you.
3. Healer
This NPC will heal your HP and SP for free. Sometimes GMs will activate his hidden powers for one hour and he will turn to a Buffer. In this hour he will in addition bless you with several buffs from the priest-class that will last for 5 minutes. After this hour the secret powers will fade again.
4. Job Master
Reached jlvl 10 as novice? Want to rebirth? Finally ready for the 3rd job? Here you go, talk to this NPC to make your jobchange happen.
5. Event Manager
You have several Event Tickets but also you have no idea what to do with them? This NPC will sell you special items for those tickets.
But be quick, there are only limited stocks available for each item, so they may run out fast.
The stock of the NPC will rotate every once in a while, so stay sharp for your chance to get an item, that was running out last time.
6. Game Master NPC
Also GMs need NPCs. This one is for rewarding Event Tickets to player that won an event.
NPC-location 5:
1. - 4. Castleflags for the open WoE-castles. Show how well your guild did fight and stand proud in front of the flag that does wear the emblem of your guild.
5. DreamerRO Guide
Here you will find some answers to your questions. She will show you the location to several spots in Caspen.
6. Poll NPC
If there is a Poll going on, this will be the position to vote for or against it.
Warp Agent
Last but not least this NPC will take you to towns, or dungeons. Talk to him and feel free to explore the World or Rune Midgard.
Potion shop:
In this building you'll find a special potion-vendor that will sell things hardly seen.
Refine shop:
1. 3-1 Class Shop
Here you can buy most of the things the skills of the 3rd class do need.
2. Point Exchanger
Convert your Deathmatch-kills into points to shop with them.
3. Deathmatch Shop
Use your points from the Deathmatch-Arena to shop here. Check your reward for all those PvP-action.
4. Repairman
Broke your weapon, or armour? This one will repair it for you, for a small fee. But most of the items that broke are worth that anyways.
5. Refiner
This is the place to upgrade your items. You won't have to do it once for each refine, for this NPC does allow you to upgrade multiple times at once.
6. Elu/Ori-refiner
Convert your rough Oridecon, or rough Elunium into pure stones.
7. Phracon/Emveretacon Vendor
Buy refining-items for lvl 1 and lvl 2 weapons here.
8. Arrow Dealer
This is the wonderland for several types of arrows. Check them and enjoy your bow.
9. Card Remover
To remove cards out of your equipment, visit this NPC. For a fee and some items (one yellow gemstone and one star crumb) she will be able to try to remove them.
Beware, it may fail and the money, along with the catalysatoritems will be gone. But your equip will still be there.
Tavern:
1. - 3. Tavern vendors
Here you can buy food and drinks that will get you stats and the simple taste of freedom.
Vending Area:
This is the place to send your shops. There is plenty of space and a way to get the shops arranged without causing confusion.
Caspen-Cave:
The Caspen-cave is located to the upper right of Caspen-town. Along with new monster you'll be able to find the NPC 'Magus' there, that is able to summon Luzifer for you. Also here will be the entrance to the future Hero-dungeon.
Caspen-Fields and Caspen Dungeon
To the upper left it the entrance to the fields near Caspen. New mobs do await you here, 2 dungeon-floors and a new MvP. Check it out and see if you can defeat the fiercy dragon lurking there.
