Current Network Issues

Im sure you all aware that the server is lagging and having trouble connecting.
Well I got 2 emails from our hosting provider on the cause and what they are doing about it.
And then a 2nd one...
I did ask them who the target IP's are, and both times it was not our IP range.
This is a 3rd time in 1 month we have had issues with lightwave's network and I am frankly tired of it. Over the next few days I will be looking for a new provider and move us over to them. I will keep you all updated on news of these situations. Thank you for your patience.

Around 6:00PM PST, a new DDOS attack on a different unrelated IP address commenced.
At this point I don't believe the targets are chosen for any particular purpose other then to disrupt the entire network.

End of Summer - Back to School Event!

It's that time again...
Sigh... Yeah... Summer is coming to an end and school will start up again for many of you. So I figure, lets double donation and v4p credits so you guys can get what you want faster before school starts!
Double Donation Credits and v4p Credits will be in effect for 2 weeks of September

War of Emperium: First Edition Changes

Thanks to everyone's feedback, I have now made adjustments to WoE: FE that should make it more enjoyable and competitive.
List of Changes:
1. Only 1 Castle Per WoE Event.
2. Prontera Castle 3 (Fadhgridh) Is now the new Asian/Euro Timezone Castle
3. Asian/Euro Time Zone WoE is at 12am Saturday (00:00 Server Time) So when Friday turns to Saturday.
4. USA Time Zone WoE:FE is still at 2pm Saturday (14:00 Server Time).
5. I will be modifying the treasures to make owning a Castle more worth while. (I will post changes when it happens)
So there you have it!
All changes are now in effect and will happen THIS SATURDAY (September 4th, 2010)

You complained. I listened. So you all have 1 week to transfer all your DM items to the desired accounts. In one week, all DM Shop Obtainable items will be ACCOUNT BOUND! The item descriptions will be updated to help notify players of this change too.
This will be put in place to restrict DM Point farming and profits made from it.

Map Crash

It looks like the Nidhoggs Instanced Dungeon script was crashing the map server. I have removed those scripts to keep stability. I will update you guys on more info when I find out more.
