Caspen Fields 01 and 02 are now complete and full with new custom mobs.
Caspen Dungeon 01 and 02 are now complete and full with new custom mobs, MiniBoss, and MVP!


Special thanks goes to GM Matt, and Fenris for thier hard work on getting us these custom maps, to make Dreamer-RO an even more special place to play with your friends.

WoE 2.0 will now run on Wednesdays and Sundays!
Also USA WoE times have been adjusted!
With this transition of the new times, I am also going to spice up the Treasures in the Treasure rooms to help promote more WoE activity, this applies to both WoE 1.0 and 2.0

USA WoE 2.0 - Wednesday @ 20:00 - 21:00 Server Time

Asian WoE 1.0 - Saturday @ 05:00 - 06:00 Server Time

Note: WoE 1.0 is still held on Saturdays only but with the new USA times too.

It's been a while since I posted some updates, so check this out.

Starting next week (March 3rd, 2010) WoE 2.0 will now run on both Wednesday's and Sunday's.
The Asian Time zones should be ok as they are. But USA timezones may need to be re-worked so its at a better time and not in the morning (when most of you are at school).

Please cast your vote with the Poll NPC in Caspen (in game) to help us decide on the best WoE 2.0 times for USA Timezone players.

Well as you all know, the server is down. Unfortunately, the server RAID Card/Hard Drives stopped working. I have already submitted a ticket to our host letting them know about the problem so they can fix it ASAP. I will give you guys periodic updates letting you know how the server is doing.

As of now, it looks like the server went down around 1AM this morning, luckily I have automated backups that run every night at 12AM, so when I get the server back up, if it turns out we lost all our data from the Hard Drives death, I can get us back up with only 1 hour of lost data (micro roll back) *GASP* Yeah I said it, "roll back". *dun... dun... duuuuuunnnnnnnnnn...* I promised every one there would never be a roll back unless something extreme happened. As you can see we might have lost all our data from the servers hard drives dieing, so it Cant be helped.

Any ways, I will keep every one updated on the status of our situation.

The server is back online! *And with no Roll Backs*

Turned out the server was having some hardware issues with the RAID card and RAM, so our host, moved our Hard drives into a new server box and we are now back online!

WoW! We are Ranked 4th on ratemyserver.net!

So in celebration of our achievement, I will be throwing a Double EXP/DROP Rate Event this Saturday and Sunday (January 30 - 31, 2010)

I've also made some changes/updates to the server.

As many of you know we are still going through some changes. Things get balanced here, that gets changed over there, this those get updated where? o_O

On another note I know the Server crashes once a day, I am working on this which should be fixed by today or tomorrow. I apologize for any inconveniences this has caused my beloved players, but rest assured, it will be fixed ASAP.

3rd Jobs Are Here!
We are the first Low Rate server to have the most complete balanced set of the new 3rd Jobs and skills.
Make sure you get our updates from our Download Section
IMPORTANT:
You need to have kRO - Fully Updated
You need to have RagRE - Fully Updated
In order to use our small client.

If you get any errors when playing, and you can't figure out why.
Simply take the time to download the New LR Full Install 3.0
Delete your old RO folder and install the Full Install 3.0 into a fresh RO folder. And have fun.


New Home Town! - Caspen
We now have a new home town. We are still adding a bunch of stuff to it, but feel free to explore and get lost!
You will find signs around town to help you navigate a bit. Check it out!

Server Maintenance:
I will be taking down the server for about half the day on Saturday (12-19-2009).
Yeah I know, what about WoE? We are gonna miss this Saturdays WoE, but Sunday's WoE 2.0 will commence.

Why do you ask?
Well, people complain about weird lag spikes and others don't. So after some research and investigation, it turns out to be the routing in between our server and players ISP (Internet Service Provider). So not every one feels the same lag.

So to fix this:
- I am upgrading both the server hardware - to rule out any lag coming from low performance.
- I am moving the server to a new ISP that has a better network.
- I will be physically moving our server from Fremont, CA all the way to Los Angeles, CA. Thats a 364+ Mile drive, so I need 1 Saturday to do this.

Sorry for any inconveniences this may cause, but do not fret... This is for the better future of our server, to give you a high performing, lagless RO Experience for years to come.

Donation System Revamped!
The donation system and voting system are now separate. This should un-complicate things about donating and voting. Here's how it works now:
- Donating and Item Purchasing are done through the Control Panel. Items are claimed in-game at the Donations Claim NPC
- Voting now earns v4p's (vote 4 points) which can be used in-game at the Vote4Points NPC. It can take up to 1 hour for your points to show up in your account balance.
